Our Charmilles 310 wire EDM allows us to work with exceptionally tall parts, as well as those with extreme tapers. Custom machine modifications allow us to cut parts up to 108" long. Precision thin parts can be stacked for cost effective production rates. Where many shops do not like to EDM aluminum, we have a special filtration system that catches the large volume of particulates that would clog standard EDM filtration systems.

At Definitive Design we are accustomed to designing highly specialized parts. Our experienced team is adept at modifying our equipment to handle almost any project. Where as other companies adhere to exclusively manufacturing standard products, Definitive Design takes pride in routinely tackling the more obscure and challenging parts.

    Tolerances

    		Our facilities list defines the work envelopes for our equipment, but in many instances, larger parts can be accommodated. The degree of precision is dependent on many variables, but we commonly work with tolerances of +/- .005" to +/- .0005".

    		We supply finished parts with plating painting and processing to your specifications. All suppliers are qualified to be DDI vendors under the control of our ISO 9001:2000 QMS.
